Help Pick The New Chevy Super Bowl Commercial

Are you planning on watching the Super Bowl on February 5th? Do you enjoy watching the commercials? Do you want to win $10,000? If you're like us here at Green Chevrolet, you probably answered yes to all of those questions. And, if that's the case, we have some good news for you - Chevy is giving fans the chance to help pick which Chevy commercial that will air during Super Bowl XLVI, and with that, a chance to win $10,000.

Not so long ago, Chevy asked filmmakers from around the world to create a 30-second spot to compete to air during the Super Bowl. As for the initiative behind the contest itself, Joel Ewanick, company VP of Global Chief Marketing Officer, "With Chevrolet Route 66, we wanted to tap into the talents of creative people from every corner of the Earth to discover our next Super Bowl ad...the submissions we received show that people from around the world share many of the same values and how Chevrolet plays a role in helping them along life's road."1

They received hundreds of entries, narrowed it down to 35 of the best, and put them on ChevroletRoute66.MSN.com, and opened up the polls to Chevrolet fans around the globe. It's as simple as registering for an account with Chevrolet Route 66, sharing your favorite commercial and your personal Chevy story with your friends, and waiting to see which one gets picked to air during the big game. The more people who return to the site from your recommendation, the more likely you are to win the cash prize. Second and third-place winners will collect $3,500 and $1,500, respectively.

Seems easy enough, doesn't it? Well, hurry up - your chance to win $10,000 ends on January 25th. And be sure to tune in on February 5th to see the winning film.

In the meantime, we invite you to stop in and see us at Green Chevrolet, located at 8017 N Knoxville Ave Peoria, IL to see some of the new Chevy models featured in the 30-second spots - including the new Chevrolet Camaro and the Chevy Volt, among many other inspiring vehicles. And, good luck!
