The new Equinox carries its winning formula into the new model year with just one significant change. For 2021, Chevy streamlined the crossover's engine lineup to a single turbocharged 1.5-liter powertrain.

The new Equinox matches its sporty looks with composed, balanced handling and engaging driving dynamics. Under the hood, a turbocharged 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine provides Equinox's motivation, generating 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels, and for enhanced traction and control in inclement conditions, Morton drivers can equip all-wheel-drive on LS, LT, and Premier models.
Technology
The 2021 Equinox's standard Chevy Infotainment 3 system makes it even easier for Washington and East Peoria drivers to stay connected, informed, and on track. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integrate your compatible smartphone with the 7-inch or available 8-inch touchscreen, providing intuitive access to functions and apps like Google and Apple Maps, streaming media, traffic data, weather info, hands-free calls and texts, and more.
Available adaptive cruise control can help mitigate the driving stress and fatigue of an extensive road trip or tedious commute.
