We’re proud of the quality and durability of our new Chevrolet models and used cars, which is why we provide the Green for Life Powertrain Warranty free of charge to our customers. This warranty comes with every new Chevrolet and select pre-owned models in our inventory.

What is Green For Life?

Engine- All internally lubricated parts;

Engine Block, Cylinder Head(s) if damaged as a result of a mechanical failure to an internally lubricated part;
Intake/Exhaust Manifolds;
Mounts;
Expansion Plugs;
Harmonic Balancer;
Oil Pan; Pulleys;
Thermostat and Thermostat Housing;
Timing Chain Cover;
Valve Covers;
Water Pump

Transmission/Transfer – All internally lubricated parts;

Gear Cases and Housing if damaged as the result of a mechanical failure to an internally lubricated part;
Torque Converter;
Vacuum Modulator Valve;
Flywheel/Flexplate;

Which vehicles come with Lifetime Powertrain Protection?

Lifetime Protection applies to all new vehicles and select pre-owned vehicles that are 8 model years old or newer with 80,000 miles or less. Pre-owned vehicles must have passed our Lifetime Powertrain Protection certification program, pass a similar inspection, or have a satisfactory CarFax profile. (Not available on any Commercially used vehicles whether New or Used)

What’s covered under Lifetime Powertrain Protection?

Powertrain components including the Engine (all internally lubricated parts, engine block, intake/exhaust manifolds) (Engine Block covered if damaged as the result of the failure to an internally lubricated part), the Transmission/Transfer case (all internally lubricated parts, torque converter, mounts) (Gear Cases and Housings are only covered as a result of the failure of an internally lubricated part) the Drive Axle (axle shafts and bearings, propeller shafts, 4WD actuator) (Gear Cases and Housings are only covered as a result of the failure of an internally lubricated part) and the Turbocharger/Supercharger (if factory-installed). Additional covered components are listed on the Lifetime Powertrain Protection certificate.

How long does Lifetime Powertrain Protection last?

If you have the required vehicle maintenance performed at the selling dealer, then Lifetime Powertrain Protection will continue as long as you own the vehicle! There is no restriction on time or elapsed miles.

Can I get Lifetime Powertrain Protection from another dealer in the area?

No, our dealerships are the only ones in the area offering Lifetime Powertrain Protection.

How much does Lifetime Powertrain Protection cost?

Lifetime Powertrain Protection is provided to you free of charge! Our goal is to build “Customers for Life,” so Lifetime Powertrain Protection comes standard with every qualifying vehicle that we sell. You need only follow the vehicle maintenance requirements explained on the Lifetime Powertrain Protection certificate to qualify for benefits.

Is there any extra maintenance required to maintain eligibility?

You must have oil and filter changes, transmission fluid changes, and tire rotations performed at the selling dealership within 1,000 miles of the required service intervals. However, we strongly recommend that you comply with the manufacturer’s other servicing recommendations (based on your driving habits and climate conditions). Our dealers are happy to assist you with additional vehicle maintenance to ensure that your vehicle is kept in maximum operating condition.

Do I have to have all of my services completed at your dealership?

Yes, our award-winning service departments will exceed your expectations. For your convenience, we will keep track of your service records for you.

Where can I have repairs covered by Lifetime Powertrain Protection performed?

All repairs covered under Lifetime Powertrain Protection must be performed at the selling dealer’s service department.

Is the Lifetime Powertrain Protection transferable if I sell the vehicle?

No, Lifetime Powertrain Protection applies only to the owner who purchased the vehicle from us.

What’s the catch?

There are no catches, hidden fees, or gimmicks. Lifetime Powertrain Protection is provided as added value and as a thank you to our customers for doing business with us!
